Bathtub Refinishing Care Guide

Follow these instructions to protect your refinished bathtub, tile, sink, or countertop and preserve your limited workmanship warranty from Master's Touch Refinish LLC.

Curing (First 24–28 Hours)

Do not use, wet, wash, cover, tape, install accessories on, or place objects on the refinished surface for 24–28 hours after completion. Ventilate the bathroom and keep the surface dry.

Everyday Cleaning

Use only a soft cloth or non-scratch sponge with mild liquid dish soap or a pH-neutral, non-abrasive cleaner (Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser, Bon Ami, or diluted dish soap). Rinse and dry after use.

What Not to Use

Never use steel wool, scouring pads, powdered cleansers (Comet, Ajax), bleach left standing, ammonia, drain openers, solvents, dyes, adhesives, bath oils, magic erasers, or strong acids or alkalis.

Tubs & Showers

Do not use suction-cup mats, adhesive decals, or mats that trap water. Keep bottles and metal cans off wet ledges. Repair dripping faucets, leaks, failed caulk, and clogged drains promptly.

Sinks & Countertops

Use cutting boards and trivets. Do not cut directly on the coating. Never place hot cookware, curling irons, candles, or cigarettes directly on the surface. Wipe spills, dyes, cosmetics, chemicals, and standing water promptly.

Ongoing Care

Ventilate the bathroom, keep the surface dry between uses, and inspect caulk, grout, and plumbing regularly. Contact us before using an unfamiliar cleaner or installing accessories on the refinished surface.
